  • Evie Wiseman

    Instructor

Evie found Pilates in 2003 and immediately fell in love with the intensity of the method while simultaneously being gentle and low impact. A fitness excursionist, Evie always maintained her Pilates practice and used the method to rehabilitate injuries that occurred during her somewhat overzealous attempts to become a marathoner and triathlete. While she still enjoys many forms of low impact functional fitness such as barre and kettlebell training, Pilates remains her first love. She began her classical Pilates teacher training program in 2013 and earned a Power Pilates 600-hr Comprehensive Certificate. She loves sharing in her clients’ health journeys and cheering them on as they gain new levels of strength and wellness through Pilates.

  • Joyce Powell

    Instructor

Joyce has been a Pilates practitioner since 2008 with international and nationally recognized certifications through Peak Pilates. Additional certifications include adult CPR with American heart Association and Pilates Mat with PhysicalMind Institute. She has a passion for helping others with their fitness needs, specifically making Pilates available for all fitness levels. For her, it’s not the quantity of the exercise but the quality of the movement to relieve and release everyday stresses.

  • Laura Seifter

    Instructor

Laura first fell in love with Pilates when she took a course during her time at Clemson University. She was intrigued by the method, the history, and the way Pilates made her feel. After moving back to Atlanta upon graduation to accept a position with Teach For America, Laura found herself missing Pilates and looking for an outlet away from her difficult job. She began by pursuing a mat certification on the side and hasn't slowed down since. In the years following, Laura continued her Pilates education to earn additional certifications, including certification through the Power Pilates 600-hour Comprehensive Program. She has taught hundreds of clients at a number of studios throughout the Atlanta area since then. Inspired by what Pilates has done for her mind and body, Laura finds it particularly rewarding to help clients find refuge and relief through the practice of Pilates in the midst of stressful everyday life. Her passion for Pilates is apparent, and she hopes to help clients achieve a happier, healthier, more energized life with every session.

  • Lilia Cazaes

    Instructor

My name is Lilia Cazaes. I’m from Brazil. My interest in body movement began when I was 12 years old. I had the chance to perform ballet and other dance rhythms. Later, I entered Physiotherapy College and during that time I had my first contact with the Pilates method. Since then, I have not stopped. Since 2012, I have been teaching Pilates.

  • Hideko Sizuki

    Instructor

Hideko was first introduced to Pilates in 2005 during her career as a professional ballet dancer. Since then, she fell in love with it and continues to practice Pilates. Hideko especially loves the idea of how Pilates can focus on core-body exercises. During her professional ballet career in Ballet Memphis, her continuous practice in Pilates allowed her to be injury-free, despite all the body straining moves that is required by ballet. Pilates is definitely a big part of her daily life, and Hideko is now Reformer, Mat, Cadillac, Barrel, and Chair certified by STOTT Pilates.

  • Harriett Groves

    Apprentice

Harriett discovered Pilates in Fall 2003. After fourteen years of lessons, she decided it was time to share her passion with others by becoming a certified Pilates instructor through the CP Teacher Training Program. Her own instructors had been well-versed in classical Pilates and she follows in their footsteps, stressing form and control in order to isolate those muscles that each exercise is meant to focus on. When not instructing, she practices Pilates herself and observes other instructors with their classes, strengthening both her physical core and the core of her teaching expertise. She holds Georgia Tech Bachelors of Science and Masters of Architecture degrees, is an inspired cook, and takes her husband dancing several nights a week.

  • Stephanie Olic

    Instructor

Stephanie radiates positivity and is truly passionate about helping others reach their wellness goals. Joseph Pilates believed that, “Physical fitness is the first prerequisite for happiness,” and Stephanie wholeheartedly agrees. Being happy is essential to living life to its fullest potential. Positive mind=positive outcome. Stephanie is a lifelong fitness fanatic enjoying ballet, dance, weight lifting, yoga, kickboxing, TRX and Pilates. She loves challenging both mind and body with her Pilates practice. Although originally from Chicago, Stephanie lived in Arizona for many years before calling Georgia home. She earned bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology and Spanish. She left a tenured position within the Beverage Industry to start a wellness focused career path as a Pilates Instructor. When not teaching Pilates, Stephanie enjoys getting lost viewing art and reading a good book.

  • Jenessa Archuleta

    Instructor

My name is Jenessa Archuleta. I have been practicing Pilates since 2011. I started practicing Pilates for my own well being with private instruction from a very dedicated and passionate 4th generation teacher. She introduced me into Pilates for the first time, and sparked my passion and flame for Pilates. It very quickly became my passion in life, and as a result I am now a 4th generation teacher, using an integrated and holistic approach. During my time in the apprenticeship program at the Pilates Connection in Durango, Colorado I had the privilege to observe a mix of generational teachers! I've completed over 500 combined hours of observation, personal workouts, student teaching, mentor meetings, and private sessions with my Master 3rd generation teacher/studio owner Kim Moriyama. I studied under Katie Clancy. Katie Clancy is a 2nd generation teacher, who studied under and assisted 1st generation Pilates Master Kathy Grant. I love learning, teaching, and sharing my passion with others to help enhance, and improve quality of life. I feel that Pilates is one of the best kept secrets that I would love to share with those that will listen, and feel the amazing benefits! I often engage in continuing education, attend accredited workshops, and read to help expand my knowledge in Pilates. Studying under the lineage of these Master teachers has empowered me to carry on the art of Pilates with the utmost respect of its original teaching by Joseph Pilates. I am honored to have studied under this lineage.

  • Renee Witt

    Apprentice

Renee is a retired Police Detective and Navy Veteran. After retirement, she moved to Atlanta from Seattle, WA in 2017. She has always enjoyed working out but police work took a toll on her body. Renee is an avid runner and was looking for something to keep her running well into her later years, as she grew older. Back in Seattle, she took an intro class at Club Pilates and was instantly hooked. She became a Club Pilates member, completed her Pilates education through the CP Teacher Training Program and continues to practice Pilates at least three days a week-supplemented with a few days of running.

  • Sarah Cook

    Lead Instructor

Sarah Cook has been passionately teaching Pilates for 17 years. Sarah was first introduced to Pilates when she attended North Carolina School of the Arts for ballet. She continued to study the technique, also developing an interest in kinesiology, throughout her college years as a dancer at The University of North Carolina, Greensboro. Suffering several injuries in the beginning of her career as professional dancer in Florida, Sarah began to truly realize the amazing value of the Pilates method. With this realization came a strong desire bring the brilliance of Pilates to others; thus she completed her 600 hour certification through Power Pilates. Life allowed moves around the country and also facilitated exposure to many different techniques. Sarah was thrilled to practice pilates throughout three healthy pregnancies, and is a Pre & Post Natal Pilates Specialist through Fusion Pilates. She is the proud mother of three amazing boys and delights (for the most part) in the challenges of motherhood. She strives to find a balance between motherhood, work, and play. Being able to follow her passion, do what she loves, and earn a living are certainly counted as some of her greatest blessings. Although she is classically trained, Sarah appreciates the integration of all knowledge into her repertoire. An eternal student, Sarah continues to find inspiration in the study of the human form; the anatomy of its physical structure, the awareness of the mind, and the ability to simultaneously affect them both. Although always exploring new modalities, Sarah feels strongly that the strength of the classical method, and her training, has allowed her to seamlessly integrate into different studios whether they are classical or contemporary. This versatility gives Sarah a unique voice and a fresh approach. She remains committed to a classical, systematic, integrative approach to Pilates while valuing her experience in the more contemporary Pilates realm. Sarah truly believes in the value and genius of the Pilates method and brings excitement, experience, and energy to every session that she teaches.
